Sign-in session cookie

When you sign in to a MEIARK Scanner account, the site sets one session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary — without it the site cannot tell a signed-in visitor from a signed-out one — it is set only when you sign in, and it is not used for advertising or analytics.

Security technology

Cloudflare helps deliver the site and protect it from automated abuse. During our review, live responses set __cf_bm, a bot-management cookie. Cloudflare states that it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. Security challenge checks may also use cf_clearance, depending on the checks applied to your visit; its lifetime depends on provider configuration.

These services can process technical data such as IP addresses, browser characteristics and security signals. They are not an advertising service added by MEIARK. Read Cloudflare's cookie documentation for provider details.

Your controls

You can manage or remove cookies through your browser. Blocking security cookies may cause repeated challenges or prevent parts of the site from loading. The site has not added an optional-tracking consent banner because the reviewed setup contains no optional marketing or analytics tools to enable. We will reassess notice and consent requirements before introducing them. A security label by itself does not determine legal requirements in every location.

Depending on the provider's rate-limiting configuration, Cloudflare may also use _cfuvid to distinguish visitors sharing one IP address. This is provider-managed security behavior, not a marketing profile created by MEIARK.

Film files and browser cache

The film and its individual frames are downloaded from the same website and temporarily held in browser memory so the film can follow your scrolling. On supported mobile and desktop browsers, frames load as needed instead of waiting for the whole video. Your browser may cache public media files. These are not advertising cookies or a stored record of your collection, and this application does not use local storage or session storage to remember your motion preference across visits.

Scope and updates

Provider behavior can differ by browser, location and security conditions. This notice reflects the current reviewed setup, not every cookie that might exist in your browser from other websites. See the Privacy Policy or email support@meiark.com with questions.
